You inherit your looks from your parents. Blue eyes are recessive and brown hair is dominent.
I have reddish brown hair with blue eyes. My husband has brown hair with brown eyes. My daughter has brown hair with blue eyes. My husband's mother has blue eyes and therefore my husband is a carrier of blue eye genes.

it's called crossing over - the dark hair and dark eyes genes are linked but yours jumped over and attached the dark hair with light eyes.
You should be very happy, blue eyes is a recessive gene and hard to come by.

if you look at your family you will find similar characteristics if they are your biological family. eyes have multiple genetic factors to cause their color but still both your hair and eyes are genes that are shared in your family
