'Per capita' income figures already given by others are the average for the whole adult population, a huge portion of which are not working a stardard western style job in the mainstream economy (i.e. are unemployed)! So, if you're asking about the pay of a Zambian job, these figures are too low to answer your question.
Of course, lots of Zambians without a job still work: subsistence farmers, being the most obvious example.
From my experience as a volunteer in Zambia for 5-years. A 'skilled' job (secondary school teacher, for example) might pay US$300 per month with luck. Senior managers in NGO organisations can earn 6-10 times more! Trouble is, there are so few jobs in either of these categories around.
(Incidentally, I suspect the Zambian economy must be improving markedly due to the huge upswing in copper prices).

The income per capita for Zambia is $900. Even if you get five times that amount, you will still end up with less that $5000 per year.
