Will I ever find someone who will pay for a 17 year old's travels around the world? For him (me, lol) to be a freelance photographer and to publish books on his travels?

Enlist in the military and ask for training to be an investigator or journalist. You will travel to lots of out of the way places, take photos, write reports, and they will be exhaustively studied. If you are looking for somebody to support you while you live the life of Riley, sorry, but people aren't that dumb.

An example...This is true.
You may have NEVER heard of a program called TEEN CHALLENGE.
No I am not suggesting your SON go to it unless He is having some DRUG addictions.
The founder of T.C. wanted to help TROUBLED teens.
He was PRESBYTERIAN.
He was a PRAY-ER ...ONE WHO PRAYS...HE prayed to GOD for EVERYTHING.
Woke up with a prayer in his heart , and prayed throughout the day.
Teen Challenge, LOOK it up I can not seem to remember the guys name or anything.
It was Iin the early 60's.
The guy needed money for a House, a really big house; but he was trying to get the money for it...Ofcourse he had prayed to GOD for the money.
He always prayed, about everything...
the money was not comming in, like it needed to, or not at all.
God told him to...FIND THE HOUSE YOU WANT FIRST. told him pressed it on his heart, whatever.
So this guy, I think David something, goes out and finds, a very large house.
Just the type of house he would need to start a place for Troubled teenage boys...
He prayed again, told God he got the HOUSE, and within LIKE just a few months; someone out of the blue ( If I remember the story correctly) just basically donated the money to him to buy the house.
GOD IS AMAZING WHEN YOU TAKE THE TIME TO BELIEVE in HIM and ask HIM for things.
