English is the official language and the language used for business and education. Will hindi and other national languages such as bengali or urdu eventually be replaced in India?

no, hindi is our mother tongue, most indians speak in hindi and prefer to do so, it is equally important to be good in hindi as in english. look at the french ppl, their language is so important to them, that it is being taught abroad too. we must respect our own language first and then look forward to english.

No.India is a vast country and different states have different languages and as such a common language is needed and English has more acceptance then Hindi or Urdu.

Abey kya bol raha hai ? No not possible .............. there are millions n millions of ppl who only speak Hindi in India so its not possible, English will become the second most spoken lang though.

No . There are huge number of people who speak hindi. It wont be taken over so easily.

I hope not but unfortunatly saris, chudidars, ect will probably replaced by American clothing.
