ohhhhh...a bit early to be thinking about history right now,but I shall try.
There are so many events that have happened,it is hard to choose just one. (thinking)
The assassination of Martin Luther King would be one thing that I would like to stop. I think that this was such a turning point in history and that he had such powerful views,it would be interesting to know how the world would be different than it is now,if he had never been killed. He was a very just man with great ideas and his life was cut short before he had the opportunity to see his dream through.

Changing a single event means changing history.
However, if I had to stop one event, I would try to stop environmental pollution, which is a continuous event with prognosticated destructive consequences.

" Event " I would say, perhaps, the murder of Emperor Francois Joseph of Austria. It was the start of the 1 st World War and also , indirectly , the second one 20 years later
As far as people are concerned, I would say with most uncertainty,
Misunderstanding.of each other.
We cannot change History , but can clear right now , if we have the real desire , ALL MISUNDERSTANDINGS.

I wouldn't stop anything, because you can't know what the consequences would be.
