06 06 06 ... the sign lof the Devil is treble 6, 666, apparently. A lot of people misunderstand it and when they see 06 06 06 they forget about the 0, and concentrate on the treble 6. It's supersitition, and thus no logical refutation can fully satisfy such credulous people. A lot of uneducated people are easily frightened by anything to do with religion, especially by the Devil, and by sin.

07 07 07? I don't think any import will be attached to this date, except to numerologists.

It was a big thing because Hollywood had a film to promote - The Omen.

In the Bible, 7 is a number that symbolises Holiness. In the old Hebrew language, to give the comparative you said the word twice and to give the superlative, you said the word three times (sorry about the grammar lesson)

So 7 meant holy, 77 meant holier and 777 meant the holiest.

Therefore 6 symbolised falling short of holiness i.e. evil, and 666 symbolised the most evil. This number was used to represent the Beast in the Book of Revelation and the "Hero" of the Omen.

However, 7 / 7 / 07 will not necessaryily be a perfect day as calendar dates are arbitary. There is no reason why the year should start on January 1st and Jesus Christ was born in 4BC not 1AD.

Because 666 is the mark of the beast in the bible. It represents the devil.There was even a movie that came out called the Omen (which is bad luck) on 6/6/06. I wanted to see the movie, but I said that I would go on another date. I do not play in spiritual realms.

What I find quite funny is how all over the globe people have made a big deal out of what they CAN SEE=666=sign of the beast, yet in my msn group and 360 I have shared so much holyiness, so much relating to Christ, but because you can't see it it's not thought of.

It's obvious, people only believe in what they see, like the 666 causes a fear because they see they sign of the beast, but there is eternity found in those three numbers too, about time it was seen
