No. It's also not illegal to sell them, as long as its made perfectly clear that they're replica, and are priced accordingly. It IS illegal to sell knockoffs and try to pass them as the real thing.

Remember.... the only crime is getting caught.

In the South of France they actually employ police to stop and check people's bags etc. in the street and if counterfeit they get a hefty fine and the goods are confiscated.

Somehow the original product will always have something that the replica will not have (quality-wise, status-wise, etc.). So technically, it is not the product itself exactly. So, no.
