Why is it that im made to feel like a racist because im proud to be English and fly my national flag in that country? Why is it that were all pushed into a corner if where not categorised in a minority group? My best friend is mixed race so im NOT a racist, but im fed up of not being allowed my free speech, and my right to patriotism!

Because too much effort has been made to include ethnic minorities. Some of whom don't even want to be included. I've answer your other question about this too. I think it is also disgusting that you can't wear a baseball cap or a hoody but you are apparently racist if you expect a Muslim woman to take off her head covering. That's disgusting, you can see my face if I wear a cap. Those Muslim women with the coverings could be anyone. I am sure most are decent people but how do I know they are not actually a man with a bomb under their clothes?
And I think I also said in my answer to your other question that the BNP aren't racist. There may be one or 2 "extremists" just as there are in any political party but the BNP information I have read seems perfectly fair. Deal with the people who have rights in the first place, let them have their rights rather than giving in to illegal immigrants and "ethnic minorities". It's not like this silly labour government who will do anything for illegals but then they tried to deport a hardworking man who had lived in England since he was a child and had a family. That was because they found out that his father had come over illegally. That wasn't fair. That guy had done nothing wrong. He was living his life fairly, working hard to keep his family and contribute to the economy. The BNP wouldn't have tried to deport him.

Where do you live? Baghdad? Londonderry?

Surely you can't live in England. Everywhere you go at the moment, there are St George's flags. The whole nation seems gripped by the wave of patriotism we get before every World Cup.

Of course there is nothing wrong in flying the English flag, but being "proud to be English" may be racist depending on how it manifests itself. If you are proud to be English because the English are "cleverer than this race" or "don't smell like that race", then you are racist.

OMG who says you are racist??
What a ridiculous statement lol.

I get a little bit cross because people fly the England flag during football matches and at no other time. When it was St Georges day I hardly saw a flag at all but as soon as the footie season starts out they all come.
True patrionism would mean flying that flag with pride at ALL times!!
Some people would sooner call themselves British rather than English which can be sort of racist to some I guess.

As far as being allowed your free speech.......... sod everyone. If you feel good about it why let other peoples views and opinions put you off. If they don't like it, that is their problem. It is hardly offensive since you live in England!! ( I take it you do live in England??)

I agree with you.

You up there, the BNP aren't racist, they have this really weird idea that charity begins at home, they'll deal with English people first and then others, if someone's lived here for 50 odd years and they aren't white, then they'll get dealt with, the man on telly who won his area (which is a very mixed area in London (forget the actually location) said that he'd treat people like a queue, the English people have been waiting and waiting for things and then foreign people come over and demand things to be done right away, therefore queue-jumping, there was nothing racist in what he said, he's putting natives first, does that mean the Spanish and other countries who put natives first are racist too?

There is nothing wrong with patriotism please be proud of your country. Where I live you are far from a minority and no one gives a rats **** if you fly your flag or not. Speak your mind where ever you like but will anyone listen and take you seriously probably not. Personally I'd like to fly a skull and cross bones but I live on dry land, would that make me racist?

I see from your profile that you are a BNP voter, and yet you are asking why you are made to feel like a racist???
Vote BNP and you are a racist no maybe about it!!
You can then wave your little red and white flag with the knowledge that you have the full backing of BNP, hope you are getting the 'full kit' skin head hair cut and big boots etc??

Fly your flag with pride. Fly it all year round, if you like. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being patriotic. Remember that English isn't a race, it's a nationality, so your flag represents *everyone* who lives here, *regardless* of their ethnic origin.

Because england has a crappy socialist government who support to every bleeding-heart-liberal-bra burning-antiwhite-men hating-native countryman intolerant barmy political correct politician/group or organisation. Forced toleration does not work.
So it has been said.

Better the governent stop pointing out stuff where problems don't exist and causing trouble where once people lived in harmony.
I mean is BAN POLITICAL CORRECTNESS.
Then we may all learn to have an equality for all.
