Sterility means you cannot become pregnant (for a woman). There are many causes; not ovulating is only one of them. After a hysterectomy, for instance, a women is sterile, even though she may continue to ovulate.

NO...it just means your egg is not fertile...it still drops and you ovulate...your egg is just not fertile to get pregnant
