I have a asus P4R800-VM socket 478 motherboard can i upgrade to a p4 ht 3.4 extreme edition cpu?

i have pentium 4 2.6 512mb ram 80gb hard drive

the 3.4 ghz ee processor runs on a 478 socket so it should work but be carefull though i may be wrong

The highest one listed is a '3.2' Some Celeron CPU's fit also. Go for some extra memory, too, if you can afford it.
