not really if that friend has no girl/boy friend ,cause if he does, it think is bad. but if not u can let he/her know u are in love. because it's more easier to understand the person in such a relationship.u get to tell he how u always wanted to there, cause is not good to die in silent when u have some one u are tripping for. try and let he know on time.

You can love whoever u want to. If it is a guy though don't get in a relationship with him, because if it does not work out, you two will end up hating each other, and lose one of your best friends. I've been there I know.

I think it is good. But it has its pros and cons, so you should it well before you decide to express your love to this person. Anyway I think it is very good to be in love with somebody who you know very well.
I hope your friend feels the same way too.

it depends on whether you want to keep them as your closest friend. It rarely stays that way if another relationship develops.
