You are right. It will break their hearts, not only because of a profound disappointment in you but also because they will realize something that you don't. You are headed for a lot of heartache yourself. You will feel guilty for what you did but worse than that, you will be narrowing your opportunities for a happy life. You probably are not doing well in school because it is boring to you. You can only see your present condition. You can't relate what you are doing today with the future.

Stay in school. Stay at home where you are loved the most until you have the maturity and life skills to be out on your own. Visit a school that offers GED and see the women with children who are now studying so that they can get better jobs. You don't have to go that route. Work a little harder now and it will pay off in many ways-- now and in the future.

It normally happens with many people.
And I too had this kind of feeling
when u r in school, U want to get out of it and have fun in college.
And when u r in college , u want to get out of it and enjoy outside life.
And this goes on till u realise u r not enjoying today but hoping to enjoy the next day.
That shouldnot be the case b'cas no one knows what happpens tomorrow and only today is yours.
For enjoying ,try to do thing which u likemost and understand why u r doing those things most of the time
I think this may help u

My dear Cody,
School is the best years of your life, to teach you about the things that are definitely going to affect youjr future earning capacity.
You appear to have a problem, is there any one you can possibly confide in, Some one you trust explicity???
Do not do anything without thinking thing through - look at / and imagine your bright, and fulfilled future...

You need the education, is it high school or college? If it is college u can always go back, if it is high school stick it out or get your GED. Just talk to your folks and let them know what is going on with you, maybe they can give you some guidance. I wish I would have listened to my parents, so I wouldn't have ended up in a dead end job!!

HAVE YOU WATCHED THE NEWS LATELY.BAD THINGS CAN HAPPEN TO YOUNG GIRLS WHEN THEY RUN AWAY FROM HOME. NO MATTER HOW BAD THINGS SEEM, THEY CAN ALWAYS GET WORSE. TALK TO YOUR PARENTS AND LET THEM HELP. PLEASE THINK VERY HARD BEFORE MAKING ANY SUDDEN DECISSIONS. BEST OF LUCK!
