I am going to assume you are thinking about the paternity DNA tests. If you look on the internet - google it, then I am pretty sure there is some tests nowadays where you can just take a swab of the inside of the mouth of the dad? and the child.

Good luck - I hope you get the results you want.

My sons father any I are getting a dna test 06/07/06. To get a D.N.A test ask for child support when you go to court they will ask if you want one say yes. If you dont want to go threw the court there are home ones that you can do. Go to a search engin and look for a D.N.A. TEST they wil send you a kit and you take the swobs at home send them back with a paymentof about 250 and in 3 to 4 weeks youll have your ansawer

what kind of DNA test?

there are many places that can do paternity testing (if thats what you're after). Your GP can give you a selection of options and prices depending on the test. Usually they go for £100 - £200 a go. Bear in mind for paternity testing, samples are required from both parents and the child.

I had a similar problem. You have two choices, if the man/men are willing to give a sample, then you can do it privately, I used cellmark and they were fantastic. Or if neither will agree to it (like my case) then go through the CSA. There will be no financial costs to you, and will still get the answers. Email me if you want some support.

Well you can request them from Child Support Services. It will take time and it will be a process but it's well worth it at the end. It will cost money but you can ask people for help with money and child support services can help you find who can help with finacial aid and walk you though it. and if the child isn't born yet you can ask the nurses to take his blood there and your blood too and from what i hear it isn't suppose to cost a thing in the hospital when the baby is first born.
