Eye for eye, life for life, may be O.K., but it is not OK for me. He was punished for life, but what was the punishment for raping the girl? The man should first have been deprived of his culprit body part for some days to feel the mental torture for the wrong done by him. He should have been hanged after a month's time, so that he should have got the penalty for both the sins.

The killer commited a serious crime and then found himself at the mercy of a country who does not tollerate what he did to your brother's daughter. Serves himself right, he chose his behaviour and then paid the price. His sentence was not in your hands.

Don't feel sorry for him. Focus on your family's healing. If you do feel sorry for him it is not unnatural. You are obviously a caring, humane person and there will be many emotions for you to work through.

Take care.

Personally, I don’t think it’s ok. I’m too naive and it’s so hard to believe such things can happen. I wouldn’t punish anybody, because his/her conscience should be bad enough. Unfortunately, it seems some people don’t have that, but even so I feel sorry for them. Perhaps I would think differently if my daughter was raped.

It's probably just disgusting and bad to hang him in the square... do like the chinese do it. shoot them in the back of the neck and send the bill of the bullet to the family!! He he he.
.
Though... care must be taken to not kill inocent people or missuse the death sentece.

I'm OK with it. That is one molester that won't rape again. That is if he truly was guilty.
Drug dealers should be publicly whipped on tv. Maybe a daily program that shows punishment by whipping or castration for sex abusers.

I personally do not believe in capitol punishment. I also have not had this experience so close to home so my mind could change.
