I'm afraid asking that question is kind of like asking if there is a God. Some will say yes, some will say no. Neither is wrong nor right depending on your religious/social background and upbringing. Some believe in fate, and that our life is set for a certain course, but we have to work *very* hard in order to change it. If you're interested in whether our behaviours are man-made or predetermined, astrology might be interesting to look at (and i don't mean the columns in newspapers :p). Good question. No predefined answers unfortunately ;)

Yes it is predefined.

From the movement of a leaf to the footprints of an ant, everthing has been obvious and known for the One even before the universe created...

But we don't know what will happen, when will happen, how will happen, why will happen. Some of us can have a clue about the future by thinking of the historical facts, reasoning, by dreams with a brilliant heart, and by training him(her)self by praying, eating less, sleeping less, talking less and thinking the unavoidable his/her own death, being useful to human, loving everything in an aspect because of the One, in short it is possible by obeying the rules and avoiding the bans of the One, the Creator....

I think our purpose on this earth is predefined. I think we are all sent here to resolve issues and learn from mistakes in a previous life.

Yes, there are choices we make, different options and paths -- but two reason for that: 1) there are so many people in the world here to complete different "soul" lessons that there has to be the options and choices because not everyone is meant to take the same path as they have different lessons to learn, 2) we have to grow and learn as individuals and that is where the options and choices come in.

From either path (wrong or right) we learn and grow which brings us one step closer to achieving our predetermined life lesson which we were sent here to perform.

How could our life be predefined when we have all these choices? There are only good choices and good consequences, and bad choices and bad consequences. We make these choices every day. The devil made me do it. Would be nice to shift the blame for our bad choices on somebody else, wouldn't it? Its not my fault. I want to play and not pay. Sure, that is the hedonistic way. Still, bad choices bring on bad consequences. Now that is predefined. Chuckle.

Like was predefined by God when he created the world, as simple as it was. He knew it would get here.

In a sense there is predestination. Before incarnating, our soul decides upon some learning opportunities to present during the lifetime. Then it's free will that determines how we respond to those opportunities for growth.

To certain extend with your previous "Karmas" but, can take care of it, if you correct your karmas(vaguely we can say "Karma" as your action).

Thoughts are also karma. If you correct your thoughts, actions, avoid ignorace, understanding what feelings are, doing proper meditation, reactions of the previous karmas and its effects can be reduced and also will get more control on present and future karma.........if you correct it now.

definitely not predetermined. Yet, I believe that some have better chances than others due to where / when they were born and in what situation.

Not at all. Our lives are what we make of it. God gave us the ability to make our own choices.
