I remember when he seemed quite the hero but I don't think he's well liked anymore. Your opinion?

Boris Yeltsin was a good transition. He was someone that the communists didn't hate, and yet he was not a communist, and forged the way for Russia to survive after the fall of the Soviet Union. So, he was somewhat of a revolutionist. However, once he was in power, he was not a very good leader. It took everyone some time to see that he was not the best man for the job, because of the great changes that were taking place as a result of capitolism. He had a bad drinking problem, which led to his general dislike, distrust, and inability to lead.

Commie..PERIOD.... can't be trusted..they still hate the USA...they are just playing a game with us...trying to make us think they are our allies....WRONG !! I worked with a girl from Russia...sha said they still hates us and always will...someday they hope we fall so they can take over our nations resources.....doesn't matter if it's true or not...it's the mind set of the current generation of Russians.....
We did a lot to make them loose face...and they are a very proud & cold hearted nation...she told me of many stories of how callous the people there are, even to one another....
