Destiny is at the end of the journey. Just as there is more than one way to go from New York to LA you have choices and some of the choices can effect you destiny. The future is not a mountain in the distance rather it is more like the vanishing point. All of us will die and that is also destiny. We do not wonder at that destiny and what we do in the mean time is what makes all the difference.

You're joking, right? Everything happens for a reason: Good and Bad! It happens! Destiny happens, but we have the choice in our lives. This is how I see it, but you gotta have a visual on what I'm going to say. I picture a big tree. Each branch, there's another one forming. Those are your choices. The tree is your life. Each different path or "branch" represents the decisions in your life. For example: I'm having a huge dilemna right now. I have to make a choice as to whether or not I should stay or go. I picture this branch and it's going to split in two. At that point, those are my choices. If I go towards the branch on the left, then my life is going to be one way. And if I choose to go down the other branch, well then, I believe, my life will be another way. Did I just mess you up?

I don't believe in destiny, and I really dislike the idea that we (could) lack free will - but... if for the sake of argument it did exist, and our whole life is pre-ordained, we still don't know the ending, do we? sort of like a film at the cinema. We have no control over the movie (after all, someone has already written the script). But the ending is still a surprise. The concept of right and wrong would cease to exist though, if we were not in control of our actions we can not be made accountable for them.

Well, not everything is pre-ordained, to begin with. There are elements in our lives that are static, but many others are variable and entirely up to us to decide.
That's why life is so important. We make all the difference, and no one else.
To give you an example: If life was one of the colouring-in books used by children, the static elements would be the black lines, while it is our job to fill in the colours. We can do this very neat, tidy and with appropriate colour pencils, or we can mess up the picture by going over the lines, smudging, or using the wrong colours. And there is not just one picture, but many. However, each single one of them has an influence on our life.

We are all here for a purpose, and yes I do believe our lives are mapped out beforehand. But look at it this way, as soon as you accomplish whatever reason it is you are here to accomplish you will go away, that simple. Be it as trivial as touching someones life in a positive way to set them on their intended path, or you invent some life saving device, etc. So no matter what, we are not useless beings, we all are a peice of this puzzle called life. plain and simple.

You can make better choices actually and the way you take you life (positive or negative) (be bad or be good) (egoiste or not) you decide.... so where ever destiny take you there is only one persone that will decide of your attitude and how healthy is your life

I believe that destiny exists.And I believe that our lives make sense because you can do everything you want but,someday, in the end destiny will get you to your way again when you don't expect.

live to know things, live to love, live to enjoy, live to learn, live to strive. u came here on this earth for a reason...if u couldnt figure out for wat purpose u came here then i would say there is no point for living.
live not just bcuz u have to live...but bcuz u want to live.
u ask to comment if destiny exists our lives make no sense....but i would say that if there is NO destiny THEN our lives would make no sense...cuz then u would be in the middle of no-where....that would not make sense.
