I drank probrably 30-40 pints a week up to 3 weeks ago, this was something i did for prob 2 years. In the last 3 weeks ive had nothing. I feel amazingly tired, to the point where at times i can hardly stand up.Also i feel like my minds doing the opposite, its going at 100mph. I also feel really depressed 1 min, then really happy for no reason the next.Anyone know if this is normal, and also how much longer will this last?

Good for you, Seek out your local AA Alcoholics Anomyous group. Yes there a bunch of old men trying to quit, but they accept young men and women as well. they have the low down on the alternative medicine treatments to combat what your experiencing. which is normal by the way. all of them in AA have succedded. give em a go. be warned some have the old men smell.

According to the MedlinePlus Medical Encyclopedia, "symptoms such as sleep changes, rapid changes in mood, and fatigue may last for 3 - 12 months or more."

i believe your body is trying to adjust to the sudden change. perhaps you should start doing some exercise, even walking....your body needs time to gradually adjusting to negative alcohol consumption. It's slowly awakening to senses that was numb for 2 years....kind of like smokers who quit suddenly are sensitive to a bunch of taste in their palates slowly....
