To answer this, we need to find the length of a year in seconds. 1 year is 365 days, 1 day is 24 hours, 1 hour is 60 minutes, and 1 minute is 60 seconds. Thus 1 year is 31,536,000 seconds. 1/1,000,000 of that is 31.536 seconds or to the nearest second, 32.

365 days in a year
24 hours in a day
60 minutes in one hour
60 seconds in 1 minute
365*24*60*60 = 31,536,000 seconds in a year
31,536,000 / 1,000,000 = 31.536 seconds

32 seconds = 1 millionth of a year

a year is the time needed for earth to revolve .

and the time needed is actually 365.25days+x seconds
i forget what is the value of x
but people usually count it as 365 or 366(every 4years)

so a year has 365.25 * 24 * 3600 + x seconds
since you ask for one millionth of a year then x can be omitted

so one millionth of a year is about 31.5576 seconds

I've remembered from first grades in school that one billion seconds almost equal to 31 years. So one millionth of year is approx. 1000/31 seconds or 32 seconds.

=>365.25*24 hrs
=>365.25*24*60 mts
=>365.25*24*60*60 secs
one millionth of a year will be=365.25*24*60*60/1000000 secs
=31.5576 secs
=32 secs to the nearest whole second

32sec. a year is approx. 365.24 days - that's why we have leap years every 4 years - multiply that by 24(hours in a day) then by 60(minutes in an hour), then by 60(seconds in a minute) and divide by 1,000,000 and you get 31.556736 which rounds up to 32.
