What would you call the sound Think Tank has?

I'm asking those who like it, so no "i know what the sound is, its shite"... Listening to songs like Ambulance, Out of Time and On the way to the club for example, they all have this familiar sound to it, and I wondered wether its an industrial sound maybe; it almost has this war-ish sound to it if that makes sense, or maybe its grungy... The whole hissing noises and everything... What do you think?

Oh right right, its an album by Blur, not talking about think tanks persee

I also thought it could be classed as a little lo-fi, but im not sure...

I only had a passing interest in Blur until I purchased Think Tank. One reviewer said that the songwriting was "mature." I personally think Damon Albarn is mixing styles all together. For instance, on Out of Time, the guitar solo has an unmistakable blues influence. Ambulance mixes industrial with pop. But then, Jets brings in some improv jazz with that awesome saxophone solo. Gene by Gene has a Calypso or ragga muffin flavor to it that brings to mind a Jamaican dance party.

Think Tank is a surprisingly underrated album and takes a keen ear to really hear it.

Think Tank should have a lot of knowledge in various subjects.His capacity to think and provide rapid answer/soltion makes a think tank.You can become one if you try and develop your intelligence ,knowledge and skills
