for the past month i've had numbness and tingling in my left outer thigh. it's odd because it's only on the left side. does anyone know what that could be caused by? i am over-weight by a little, but i don't have any serious health conditions that i know of.....

I have the same problem and I have always contributed it to back problems.

The symptoms you describe could be related to a number of conditions including the possibility of a minor stroke,especially if you have excessive chlorestorol blocking your arteries.Do not be an idiot.Get a complete medical examination now.There are many serious causes of symptoms such as you describe.Prompt diagnosis may help you find a quick cure before it is too late.If it is not serious,the doctor will not bite you.So get in there now.

Were you always putting your weight (eg. sitting, or putting your elbows) on your left thigh? If so, try maintaining a balanced sitting posture and the numbness would slowly disappear. Also don't forget to walk (as an exercise for your legs).

not only there any part will be like that when blood circulation will be stopped for some parts by pressure.
