G'day,

An exchange server is basically an e-mail server produced by Microsoft. It requires you to use MS Windows Server operating system and install the MS Exchange software afterwards. You will need to configure the server as a Domain Controller.

Once configured, the workstations then need to join the domain to be able to use it fully. Once joined, you can configure the MS Outlook from workstation to access the e-mails from the server.

It has also the advantage of having a web-mail module, where users can just type their domain name on the internet browser and access their e-mail from anywhere (pretty much like Yahoo Mail).

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!!
