The most common belief is that it's resident in your brain, and maybe your nervous system. I have a theory that its in another realm and your brain and nervous system is really just a "radio" control device, which connects us to our bodies!

All the memories in your head, the things you did, the impressions you gathered. This only exists in your mind. If your mind wasn't there these events wouldn't exist.

For simplicity sake---it is located in the activity patterns of the brain----(even though some people prefer to think with other parts of their anatomy a good deal of the time)
