WOW, That WAS an ignorant question, but I'll answer it anyway since you are obviously in the DARK AGES...Humans adapt to environmental conditions just as animals do... when people migrated from the Middle East and Africa to other areas such as Europe, they had to adapt to their environment and millions of years of gene mutations resulted in pointy noses with small openings which is ideal for breathing cooler dryer air, fair skin to aid in vitamin D absorbtion since Europe is farther from the equator, and finer, straiter hair which is an adaptation to environmental heat. Similarly, native Africans' kinky or as you called it "Afro hair" is an adaptation for higher temperatures, their noses have larger openings to allow for easier breathing in hot and humid environments, and their darker skin is an adaptation for intense UV rays in the sunlight. PLEAASSE COME TO THE 21st CENTURY WITH THE REST OF US!!!!!!!!!

the main function of hair is to keep warm. soft silky hair traps body heat better than course hair. so it helps keep warm in cool climate or stops over heating in hot places. however since we only really have hair on head it is of little consiquence to humans and is a throw back to a bygone era.

what kind of question is this. Are you saying that 'coloured people' don't have 'soft silky' hair.

Where do they still say "coloured" in reference to African, Black, or African American people. I think the answer to your question is that people are all different.
