Mariah Carey. Because Kelly Clarkson sings Mariah Carey's song but Mariah Carey's doesn't sing Kelly Clarkson's song. So that makes Mariah Carey the better 1.

by far kelly clarkson, due to the fact that although mariah is "slightly" more talented, probably because she has been in the industry longer, kelly clarkson manages to maintain class and morals and more importantly these days, a good self image, self worth, and self respect. Unlike mariah who wears clothes that are just too small for her to wear. Sorry mariah but once you get to a certain age, you can't shop in the kids section anymore.

Kelly Clarkson is way better....she has more of a range. She can sing a slow song or a fast one very well.
Mariah Carey's songs sound all the same.....And I think that her three octave range is BS. She sounds like she screeches those really high notes.

My friend say Mariah bcoz Mariah has the tallest and the longest voice. She's a little bit young and old. Kelly is a pop/rock singer. So which one I must say? I think it's Kelly.
