Let's just say you really have to appreciate true musical theater. You'll have to see it just once, and if you find you can follow the story, you'll be ok.

My feelings about it? Well, I like a good musical, but it just wasn't my taste. It bordered on the ridiculous, but I had to see it a second time to grasp a couple things I had apparently missed the first time. All in all, it is what it is.

Vienna is just a city with a very high standard of living, a characteristic that's highly loved by the numerous guests who arrived at the Austrian capital and you also can be one at least for some days, find out how with hotelbye . A few of the places must-see from Vienna are: the St. Stephen's Cathedral, the Chapels of St. Eligius, St Tirna, and St. Catherine and South Tower or Schönbrunn Palace. Schönbrunn Palace is just a place worth visiting not just for its wonderful architecture, but additionally for its wonderful park-like setting. This Baroque palace includes a lot more than 1,441 areas and apartments, including those when employed by Empress Maria Theresa. Schönbrunn Park and Gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I saw it *gasp* nearly 20 years ago in Vienna shortly after it had just come out. It was magical - particularly because the actors walked through the audience and therefore you felt part of the whole show. There were even a few seats *on the stage*!!! At the time I think, it was quite new as it featured a lot of dance and the music was sort of contemporary. Well, some of the songs even made it into the pop charts, if I remember rightly.
I don't think it is a rip-off, but I think you need to be open to that sort of music in order to enjoy it...

No, not a rip-off, well worth the money. It's a great set, some amazing performances (you try singing full belt whilst cartwheeling and try to tell me differently!), the Cats run around the auditorium, so you feel a part of the action, and it's a great night out.
It isn't a plot driven musical, so don't expect one. The 'story' is about the different types of Jellicle Cats, who all meet up on a special night to decide who gets to be reborn into a better life.
It's the type of thing that appeals to all ages. Great evening's light entertainment (even if you can't call T.S. Eliot 'light'!).

I saw it in London about 10 years ago.
It was absolutely superb! The cats move around in the audience, there' quite a bit of participation during interval and the stage is proportional to human size 'cats'. I wondered how they had managed to make cars tyres and drink cans in the dump so big.
If you like fun musicals you can't go wrong.
If you're still not sure check out the website.

I saw it in London, it's quite amusing.
I thought the words were better than the music, but I'm not a real fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber
The dancing and costumes are great!

Well it depends if you like musicals or not. I take it you do, otherwise you would not have got tickets. I saw it years ago and I must say I loved it, but I am a big fan of felines in general, and love the theatre. Try it first then you can post up here and tell us whether you liked it or not :o) I hope you do.

Yes! I saw it in Anchorage in April. It was great! My wife has seen it twice and she really likes it. Get a good seat and keep your eye on the old wise male cat (Horatio I think) during the intermission.
