On the first half of my four years in high school, I was considered one of the most prim and proper girls. They respected me for it. In addition, they looked up to me as I did well in my academics and extra-curricular activities too. On the latter half, I was kind of influenced by my bisexual friends. That includes, having a relationship with a college girl on the same campus as mine. Eventually, it came as a shock to most of my classmates. That time I didn't care what they think, but my reputation was inevitably scarred.
If you were one of my classmates, what would you have think or said?

While I doubt you were "influenced" by your bi friends, I would believe that they led you to think in a different way, which made you think of yourself in a different way and realize that "maybe you weren't straight." As for the question at hand, I would have probably wanted to shake your hand for being so strong about it all and I would have thought all the people who reacted negatively were immature. In other words, I'd have thought more of you and less of them.

We can all pretend to be something we're not. But..it doesn't make it true.
Why do you think your reputation was scared..because they think you are a lesbian?
I had many "secret" affairs with women starting after high school. I guess I also cared what other people thought..and kept it secret.
The thing is..now I am reconsidering the whole deal. I am starting to think it was a huge mistake to keep it secret. The secret perpetuated a marriage..and now everything is falling apart.
If I were true to my feelings from the beginning..things might have been different for me.
Consider who you truly are.

I would say don't blame your actions on the "influence of your bisexual friends" you are an adult, make decisions for yourself. Reguardless if you are prim or proper, all types of people are lesbians and bisexual, there are not one type of lesbians or bisexual.

If being a lesbian is what make you happy then go for it. I'll be here if you need to talk to someone or if you need someone to help you out. I want our friendship to continue and grow.
That's what I would say to you.

I would still talk to you but as far as friendship goes, I don't really approve of that kind of life style so maybe we wouldn't be friends.

I wouldn't think there's anything wrong with that. on top of all it that other ppl shouldn't even care about who you meet with, about your sexual preferences. I, personally wouldn't care about it. if you think it's good for you then that's great! I wouldn't say or think anything bad or stop liking you if we were friends - it's ridiculous behaviour.
take care!:)

I would have said " There's nothing wrong with gay or lesbian, the only thing that is important is love."
