Well there isn't necessarily a "cure" for vertigo. Either your symptoms persist or they stop. Medications such as Meclizine (antivert) and Benadryl can ease symptoms, but often leave people drowsy.

If your vertigo is caused by benign paroxysmal positional vertigo an otolaryngologist, (more commonlly called an ear nose and throat physician) can perform fatigability. This type of vertigo is caused by head movement and lasts for about a minute but can leave you with a feeling of imbalance for some time.

Depends what type of vertigo you're referring to...fear of eights or the medical term where you lose the balance in your inner ear.

If it's the latter, then unfortunately there is no known cure and you basically have to rest up until the world stops spinning around you. No matter what you do, everything spins, kind of like when you've had too much to drink. It's a horrible condition to suffer from.

Again if you're referring to the imbalance Vertigo, there is medication available which helps with the nausea but it seldom works for me.

Not certain if there are any cures, but there are some causes that can be cured. See your primary care doctor to have your ears and sinuses checked first. They can cause you to have vertigo and are relatively easy to treat. Other causes could be related to your brain and would require a CT scan.
If a cause cannot be found then there is a medication called Meclizine (also called Antivert) that can help control your symptoms.

I don't think so. I get Vertigo from time to time and I think it's one of the worst things that anybody can suffer from but my GP told me that there is no cure for it.

You can get medication to lessen the side effects but they won't cure it. You can also buy armbands that have pressure points on them, u put the pressure points on your pulse and this helps with the light headed feeling. Be sure and get plenty of rest, I always found that lying down helped me, take some time off of work or school and take it easy, stress is one of the major causes of Vertigo so you do yourself any favours worrying about it. I suffer a Little anything over 20 feet and then panic sets in and the higher the worse i get.But i am getting better at it, how? I started going ab sailing, and yes i know but i told them about it and there great. At first i only went up a little, they guise you and show you all the safety and guide you along the way. Sessions usually cost around £15 a time, also hypnotising can help, and maybe putting a ladder up and trying a few steps when you can increase the steps you take. Good luck

Sounds like it could be the flu or a bad cold. I had a flu like that, they can't really give you anything for it, just sleep it off. Take some vitamin c and Dimatapp or some kind of cold/flu medicine. You should feel a bit better in a few days :)

Face your fear, talk yourself through it logically, and if you still feel like you are going to pass out, try seeing a hypnotherapist, it worked for a friend of mine, cost about £40, and changed her life forever. Good luck.
