...I think I would wait to see if there is a surprise when they come home....if not, I would wonder why....
People feel differently about the importance of birthdays....but not even to say happy birthday...sounds as if they forgot. I think you should drop big hints!!! And if that doesn't work, tell them how you feel.
I hope that by now you have had a good surprise.

Happy Birthday, I would wonder why? Perhaps they were thinking so hard about what to get you they forgot to say HBTY, or maybe they forgot it was your b'day. Try to be forgiving. Maybe your mate had a bad birthday experience and hates birthdays. The best solution it just to ask.

I'll be honest. I've had so many I really don't care if they remind me or not.
I know what I would do to make your birthday more pleasant but I can say. Angels done cracked my skull once today with a frying pan. OUCH!
