to get it as a percentage just multiply by 100.
1/6*100=16.66666667%
150,000*16.66666667%=25,000
or
150,000*16.66666667/100=25,000
or u could leave it as a fraction and u can see that (1/6) their are 6 parts so to get one part u just divide by 6 which will give u one part.
150,000/6=25,000

well when you use the word "of" it means multiply and when you use the word "is" it means divide (that works with percents too)
so 1/6*150,000=150,000/6
150,000/6=25,000
