ok...my best friend is a guy named Tyler...he & i do EVERYTHING together, only we're not dating...everyone makes little jokes about us being married and askin whether we've made out or anything...i just had this conversation w/ my friend Blair & he was like "I think deep down you know you 2 will end up havin sex or something"....idk, but the more i think about it...the more i begin to feel a certain attraction to him...and he's got a g/f...its not like i WANT to like him like that..we're about to be juniors next year & tyler & i are beginng to plan to go to the same college...i just dont wanna lose him and the friendship we have built...what do u guys think....am i in love? lol

ask yourself this when ever you see tyler do you get that butterfly feeling in your stomach? will you be there for him night or day at the drop of a pin? will you be the friend sitting by him in jail or the one bailing him out? if you awnser yes to the first 2 questions and sitting with him in jail then yeah thats love. he may have a girlfriend but you have to find out for yourself or you will never forgive yourself for not finding out if there is anything there between you two.

Well maybe you like him like that, maybe you don't. You don't have to decide right now. I think maybe the fact that everyone is teasing you or saying you two should be together has been colliding with your own judgement. Remember he does have a gf... But as far as loosing your friendship, true friendship never dies, and yes it's def possible to be just friends. My best friend is a guy, who lives thousands of miles away cuz he move long long ago but we still keep in touch by writing, its so cool, and we are in touch with our emotions but that's it. I think of him like a bro, and maybe if you think ur friend like a bro u don't have to worry, but if u can't then just wait it out, and make sure he's clear and not commited to someone else. I wish u and ur friend the best of happiness whatever your relationship may be. :)

I reckon you are just starting to realise that you are indeed attracted to him. And when time passes by, boy, you sure are gonna fall head over heals with this guy. But however, since he has a girlfriend already, you don't want to do anything irrational. Keep the friendship as it is. Because girl, you know that boyfriends come and go but bestfriends are here to stay forever.

Men and Women can be just Friends but if you think your falling in love with him than go slow with your friendship is more important then anything if you rush in to things you can lose the friendship

I'd say if you were in love, you wouldn't have to ask a bunch of strangers on the internet... you'd know. And yeah, men and women can be definitely be just friends. (Little side note though: if you're not in love with this guy, hanging out alone with him so much will hurt your prospects of finding someone.)

Personally I think men make better friends than women. Once you get past the sexual tension and have established the boundaries the relationship is understood and great friendships develop!

It's natural to be attracted to your bestfriend you won't lose him and yes it's possible to be just friends but if you cross the line it might be difficult to come back to being good friends again. I wouldn't interfere with his relationship he has now but if things doesn't work out with his girlfriend give it a shot!

whether he has a g/f or not yes you are in love. if he feels the same then he will end up with you.dont do anything to ruin his existing relationship because he may end up not liking you for it
