Go to Lyon then there is so much to see (Old City) and so much to do (shopping, many clubs, bars and restaurants). Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

The top 10 cities in France according to visitors to Yahoo! Travel are:

1. Paris
2. Nice
3. Bordeaux
4. St Tropez
5. Cannes
6. Aix-en-Provence
7. Lyon
8. Chamonix
9. Marseille
10. Toulouse

It really depends on what you'd like to do. Perhaps you might want to check out Marseille and the French Riviera for example or the wine regions or the chateaux. I hope you have a wonderful time. It would be worthwhile going through Yahoo! Travel after chatting with your girlfriend and pick out locations that suit you both.

Provence is awesome (Avignon, Arles, Aix, St Remy, etc..), and 3hr TGV from Paris and you can cver a lot in 3 days TGV there and then rent a car and go! I keep going back, and it is close to the Cote d' Azure. I loved Strasbourg as well, beautiful and fun. I have been to a lot of France, so just depends what you are looking for.

If you like the sun....the beach...and the sea.....I recommend going to either Monaco or Nice. The weather there is always warm....even in early Spring -- you can sun-bath and go swimming....

If you like nature.....you can try going to Aix-En-Provence or Toulouse. You can go hiking and enjoy Mother Nature's works....

You can visit websites about France....just type "France" in Yahoo! Search....I'm sure there's something useful.....enjoy! ;-)
