It can be taken in two ways...
first, if it is 1+(2/2) , the answer 1+1=2;
secondly, if it is (1+2)/2 , the answer 3/2=1.5;
This purely depends on where the parantheses are placed.. and so is the order of operation.
The answer cannot be 3 anyways.
