the root of the plant you want to kill is the tap root, they are usually hollow roots . cut the plant down find tis root, or jost do this to all of them, pour salt water down them alot of salt in the water works best

you can probably chop that plant, make holes in its log and add a harmful chemical into it. this should do it but it isnt guaranteed. we have the same problem here with a fig tree. its roots grow and causes damage.

How about pour chlorine into the floor. That's how I wiped out an ant colony one time long ago. That spot was never infested by ants ever again!
