Playing video games on consoles such as the PS2 allows you to log in, but doesn't allow you to access gaming "rooms" to play against others.

You probably have to set up "port forwarding", or a "DMZ" in your router's admin pages.
The details vary from one brand to another, but, in general, there will be a particular port, or range of ports, which is needed by any given game. You set up a "forwarding rule", which tells the router to pass that particular port directly to the games box.

Most routers have an IP adress to access the options.. many use 192.168.1.1 for the routers IP. just type it in and it will ask for admin login & password, default is usually just admin for password and leave login blank. check your routers manual for more info.

You need to set up portforwarding to access those sites.
