Do you believe in propaganda in news, and documentaries?

In Bowling for columbine they act like the US is all violent but it's not as violent as people say. They also act like Canada has better news but when I took a trip there their news is just like ours so how can Canadian news be different then ours. They also got people in Iraq too. They even have locks on their doors

Also the news acted like the government, bush, and gozalas logged every ISP. Then RR said to me when I was trying to track a hacker that they do not log peoples activities, or retain records so why do people say the governement is trying to retain records of our activities.

Also they acted like gas would go over $4 a gallon but never went that high.

It seems like all fear. Do you believe the news is a lot of propaganda?

Also the media said myspace is gonna be regulated for teens but hey teens are still allowed on there. Maybe it's a secret myspace I don't know about. Also people acted like the internet was going to become all money, pay, and credit cards but theres still a lot of free sites out there. Heck Google Searches are free. You know Google can charge you $0.01 a search but they don't do that.

Also the media really targeted Myspace but you can find rapists in the malls, churches, schools, babysitting, stores, and really everywhere so what does the news mean when they act myspace is the reason for all raping, and molestation.

Just about the ONLY thing you get from the American news media is 100 PERCENT PROPAGANDA... especially from FOX News. The American 'journalists' are too friggin' LAZY to chase a story, so they just take the drivel the Whitehouse hands out and parrots it on the TV or in their Papers. There is no such thing as investigative reporting in this country.

I get my news from the BBC and from the foreign news media on the Internet... I just can't stomach all this AmeriKa is wonderful bullshit.

Of course there is. If you watch Fox News, you'll note is significantly slanted to the far right.

You will see very little on the news that criticizes the republican admin. Even though Bush's approval rating, prior to killing their terrorist target, was lower than Clinton's right after he was caught lying about Lewinsky, there is no "outrage" like there was for Clinton's sexual indiscretion.

Now what is worse, sex or war?

UNFORTUNATELY if the media told it like it was they wouldn't have their jobs long.
Get your news elsewhere. There is plenty on the net.
Just remember to read between the lines and see what they are covering up or don't want you to focus on.
Their job is to keep you confused and keep you looking somewhere else other than the real problem.
Propaganda? what do you think? I think some are just as confused as we are. They are lied to as we are. They print what they are told to print. It is no longer a "free press"...

Definitely. News is business, of course. It's still about which channel makes the most money. :o) when they spice things up, they are bound to have more viewers and their ratings will go up. So why not spice things up a little...or a lot!

All public media is primarily Democrat. They are very, very biased in their opinions and in the media they produce. That is equivalent to propaganda.
