i wished they made the movies like the original cartoon series

Gambit is one of my favorite characters, but I'm glad he wasn't in the movie as all the characters were overshadowed by Wolverine (because they are making a spin-off film for him and he's the most popular character) and Storm (because Halle Berry didn't want to do another X-MEN movie unless she had more screen time). I'm also glad they didn't have Gambit in it, because Brett Ratner took over the directing reigns from Bryan Singer and Brett Ratner is a hack and the movie wasn't as good as the first two. Hopefully they will add Gambit in the future films with a better director.

I know people will say this was the last one, but it's not. It was just the end of that trilogy/storyline. They will make another X-Men movie. Guaranteed. It made too much money to not make another one.

Gambit was probably gonna be overshadowed by the aspect that in X3 Bryan Singer (the director) made a lot of changes..IE: Colossus AKA Piotr Rasputin in the original xmen but here just "Pete"...not being russian...Cain Marko AKA Juggernaut is a "Mutant" in the movie but originally he is not a mutant since he gets his powers from a crystal...also he is supposed to be Prof. X's half brother. Back to Gambit, Singer wanted the movie ot have a "Romantic aspect" too so he had Bobby Drake/Iceman...have an interest with Kitty Pryde/Shadow Kat...therefore Rogue wanted to become "normal" If Gambit was there perhaps the whole story would have changed

I didn't watch the cartoon series but I was into the comics back in my teen days.
I used to think Gambit was super cool. I still have this massive poster on my wall with only him in a big cajun. My favourite X man is Wolverine, though

X3 was a lousy way to handle the story line. When will movie makers realize that the actual story lines from the comics would make spectacular movies in and of themselves. And yes Gambit should have been in there.

I was upset by the two "deaths" that happened a lot. It was so not right. I would have loved to see Gambit and Jubilee, too. I really hope they come out with another one, cause this left me feeling like, wow, this can't really be the end, so much unfinished business, you know?

You know what? I was pissed off too.

I felt like I was the only person that liked Gambit! He was my favorite from the cartoon, and he was my favorite character in a fighting videogame I used to play when I was younger.

No! I wish they had included Jubilee too. I loved her ability to make things explode. And the fact that you could never tell (depending on which series you read/watched) if she was good or bad. But if you stayed after the credits you would have gotten a surpris (SPOILER ALERT--READERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Any way, after the credits a scene opens. Xavier transferred his mind into the body of the guy he showed in his lesson to his students. The one with no brain function. And if you saw what Magneto did...well! I dont' think they are done with the movies. I have a suspicion they will bring in Apocalypse and let angel go ahead and become arc angel. Maybe then they will bring in more of Gambit!!!!

No. Because they haven't been able to ruin him like they did wolverine. They took wolverine and made him seem like a jerk with a stupid hair cut and little else. Christ crackers, he's 100 something years old. You think he would be more hardend. They took such a complex charactor and make him a joke. Thats Holywood for ya'.

Yes I was upset that guy rules when he throws those sick and sharp cards at villains and gets in fights with wolverine all the time! They better put him in the sequels or spinoffs because that guy is off the hook!
