no, not at all buying lighter tops would make you look darker...if you want to look lighter get tops that are darker than your skin tone, if you want to look darker get lighter colors.. enjoy!

Okay like bright top's such as Hot Pink (or any kind of bright pink) would make you look darker... belive me i have a dark skin tone also. But white makes you look a little lighter, than the brightly colored top would.

As u mentioned tat u r dark, you better choose pale colours..
It'll make you light.I mean choosing light colors will provide more glamour for people who r having dark skin tone..
So, try to use light colors than dark.

No it doesn't. But you can wear also light things that makes you look little bit darker but in the same time also slender . And contrasts are just great.

No Dark colour tops will make you look better .You can experiment with dark colours .

Basically, no. By looking at your avatar your not that dark so Ithink you can wear most of the colors. If your buying, try them on and check it your self but, don't be too judgemental on your self, love your self if you don't who will?

I think reds look good with dark skin, also greens.

no. if you wear clothes darker than your skin tone it will make your skin look lighter. if you wear clothes lighter than your skin tone it will make your skin look darker.
