Nope. I'm used to being different now, and I enjoy who I am. If I enjoy it, why should I change? I admit, though, that when I was in high school, I would have answered "yes."

hey that guy,
that answer you gave kinda makes you sound like a tool, and you really have no business answering this question since you're straight and have no point of reference at all of what its like to be gay. Please save your moral imperialism.

That being said I have to admit the idea of waving a magic wand and instantly not haveing to take crap from people like that guy, to not have people tell me who I can or can't marry, and to not have people blaming all the problems of the world on me is kinda of tempting. but then I wouldnt be the person that I am i'd be someone different and I wouldn't be able to empathize with other minorities as much. I've always held a special place in my heart for outcasts, having been one most of my life. and i think that its really easy for someone who's not a minority to become arrogant and look down on outcasts. i mean look at all these christians that say we're evil, who have evidently forgotten that the man they call their savior was an outcast too in his life. So as tempting as it might seem at first I'm pretty sure I'd stay me.

No. why on earth would I do that? We are among the happiest people anyone we know have ever seen -- and our relationship is more successful than any straight marriage I know of, but one.

I'll stay gay thanks.

would you want to change and be something that you were born as? cmon buddy. You could of asked a better question. If people aren't happy with who they are, then they have issues. I am a lesbian, and I wouldn't change anything for who I am.

I'd say its genetic. I've never seen anyone present proof of it or of it being a choice. Anyway, I'm Bisexual and happy. Wouldn't do it for anything.

considering i am straight already, i would yes choose to be straight, of course you can't medically change your sexuality, as it's not really a disease to be gay, even though i would like to think of it as one. it's a choice, a mental thing, caused by exposure to outside influences. that's why gays shouldn't be allowed to adopt, they'll convince those poor little easily-influenced children into being ass-jockeys and rug munchers. makes me want to cry.
