Can I block my e-mail address so the person doesn't know who is sending the e-mail, like if I wanted to pull a prank on someone?
Or any other way I can do this?

While pulling pranks are definately not advisable, gmail allows one to send emails without using your personal email address. This is how gmail works:
1) Sign up for any email address
2) In your gmail account, go to settings (at the top right hand corner)
3) Select accounts at the top bar
4) Click add another email addess under 'send email as'
5) Add the desired email address and gmail will automatically send a verication code to the desired email address
6) Next, click the confirmation link and from then on, when you compose a mail, you can choose the sender.

Block email address. On here? all you do is edit your profile so that you cannot get or sent emails from people. If you're talking about the regular email. I think you can do it anonymously, but I'm not sure how. But why would you want to prank people? Maybe you can use an alternative email, like get a new email address, send it to the person, and then you could delete that email account. Hope that helps!

As far as I know you can not block your own address. However you can create a new e-mail account. I have done so in the past and had a two way conversation with a friend. Some how though he found out it was me. I may have given it away by mentioning something he e-mailed only to my original address. He kept YELLING at me and I was laughing so much I had to tell the truth. hope your joke is as much fun as mine ended up being/

Yes there is in every email service. You have to follow the instructions once you go to the option menu.
