Lily has it right, I second her answer. I would add that clothing varies a lot in the Arab countries, depending on whether you're in Lebanon, with mild climate, with Westernized groups but also muslim conservative groups, or deeper East, where it's very hot and sometimes clothing is dictated by the law, especially for women, as is the case in Saudi Arabia. One other thing, the Abaya is often white not dark colored, to not absorb heat.

It's called "abaya" in Arabic, or "galabya",or "gelbab".
It's written like this:
عبا ÙØ© -جÙابÙØ©-جÙباب .
this goes for men and women.
