I've been injured on the job twice.
I had a really bad time filing a claim. The first doctor said I wasn't hurt and tried loading me up on pain pills. I saw him twice, complained to my workplace and went to another doctor. She was great! She was very professional and gave me a disablility percentage rating. After my workplace found out I was entitled to a lump sum for my injuries they flipped out and ordered me to have a second opinion. The doc saw me, confirmed what the previous physician had diagnosed, and told me he didn't understand why I needed a second opinion. Although I made about $3,400 bucks, I wouldn't say it was worth it for the injury I received to my back. Long story short, expect to be playing LOTS of games with people. If they try bulling you, find a Workers Compensation or Injury lawyer to deal with your case.
Good luck!

I was injured on the job in Sept., 2002 and am still waiting to go to work. The doctors are doing their best, but they are limited by what the insurance carrier is willing to pay for. Don't fight the insurance company alone - Get an attorney!

hell , if that gives you any hope. just make sure you go to the docs and fill out all papers necessary.if your not ready to go back to work then don't , if you don't like your doc then you can change once. try to go to an office with a lot of docs like solantic. depending on your injury and job , find a good attorney, get the right legal advice, and good luck to you.

They act like you are faking it, and try to prove you are faking it, even if it is real.
