although avast is free, and you feel like youre not getting paid for, it's actually one of the best out there.
the only reason its free because the paid version has spyware protection as well as real-time spyware. go ahead and use either avast or AVG for free.

I use MacAfee.

I have used AVG & Norton before and they don't seem to be as efficient and up-to-date all the time.

Plus if you have AOL, Norton is not recommended or supported by AOL.

LOVE EZ ARMOR AND EZ PEST PATROL---EXPENSIVE BUT I GET WITH ROADRUNNER HERE IN PHILA,PA. DETECTS EVERYTHING AND IF I LOG ONTO WEBSITE WITH VIRUSES OR ANYTHING ALARM GOES OFF IT SHUT SYSTEM AND I GET IT OFF IN 3 MIN. REMINDER-SYMANTEC/NORTON HAVING PROBLEMS WITH SECURITY-WAS IN NEWS. HOPE THIS HELPS- MY BEST ADVICE IS TO GET ONE WITH PLAN. AND YOU CAN INSTALL OTHERS IF YOU LIKE BUT THEY ALL CAN'T WORK TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME. FIND ONE THAT SUITS YOUR NEEDS.
