i dressed as the crow (eric draven) it was my oldest son's first halloweeen ( that would be 11 yrs ago i was 22) he was a crow ( a black sweatsuit & a hat with a beak shape for a bill) i strapped myself down with a couple of ace bandages, donned my vinyl pants & a couple rolls of electrical tape long sleeved black shirt, combat boots & leather trench coat... i did the makeup perfectly, poured a black wash in my hair... i think i could have been a stunt double ( i was tiny then & very androgyneous) that was my best, but the family best was the year my husband dressed as jack skellington, me as sally & my oldest as Zero the ghost dog... this year my oldest wants to be Dib, I will be gaz, hubby will be zim & my youngest will be Gir ( invader zim) that should be fun...I always make the costumes, i get started around august...so i have enough time for everyone... My oldest is a COS player too ( at anime & gaming cons) he was mega man & he does an awesome radical ed ( cowboy bebop) i guess we are just a whole family of gender benders...but halloween is def my favorite holiday!

I was about 45 years old and a bunch of my women friends had a halloween party. I didn't know what to wear and at the last minute I had an inspiration. I wore a full slip and I took a big piece of red felt and pinned it carefully to the slip. My friends stared when I arrived and when asked what was my costume, I announced " a slip of the tongue"! I won best costume!!

I dressed up as Snow White a few years ago. I was working in the Disney Store and they gave us a nice discount on costumes that year, because they wanted at least one cast member in a costume during open hours for the month of October. I had so much fun, I hadn't dressed up for Halloween in years! I even went to a costume shop and bought a Snow White wig, our store didn't carry them for adults, and I did my make-up to look like her, too. When parents would see me in the store they wanted me to hug their kids and take pictures with them, one mom ran out and bought a disposable camera and came back to take pictures. I think I may have signed a few Snow White autographs as well, hee hee! My husband and I were invited to a Halloween party that year, costumes optional, and everyone was so shocked and said I looked great! I had so much fun!! Good question, you've got me thinking about pulling it out of my closet again this year!

I was a zombie when I was 18 (went to a costume party)....but I did a kick @ss make-up job. Using gelatin and make-up, I made it look like I had a huge gash across my throat, then added all the fake blood, then for the finishing touch I stuck safety pins through the top and bottom parts of the gash to make it look like it was somewhat holding the wound closed.

It looked awesome....my own father couldn't even stand to look at it, lol.

I dressed up like a vampire last year, my husband dressed up like a pregnant woman with the baby coming out the front like a C-section and the babies feet hanging out of his back, he also wore 2 inch high heels, and my 4 year old son was dressed up like the Dr. He did this walking around Deadwood SD for Deadwierd Days. We walked around Deadwood for 5 hours.

I dressed up as a female inmate. I had a black and white stripped halter top with a black and white skirt. Completed the outfit with a ball and chain around my ankle. It was soooo cute! I know that female inmates would never dress like that, but I had to make it sexy........:o)
