no nothing to be scared of just another day and date

I think feelings were mixed. Some predicted the end of time which makes me wonder where they got their information. Some were superstitious regarding the meaning of "666". Some partied on and some simply didn't give a hoot. Personally, I don't like the number simply because it is associated with "the mark of the beast".....the mark and the prophecy associated with it has yet to be fulfilled even though there are pre-rapture signs occurring now. This is a matter of faith and if you have that faith you know that no man knows the day or the hour......no reason to fear the date.

You mean 06.06.06?
If so, well that isn't the devil's number. The "devil's number" is 666
So why worry? (As there is a zero that seperates each and every 6)
The only time you will have a 666 line-up is on any day of june of the year 2066 which will show as:
06.06.66. Note the last three numbers.

Does this help answer your fears?

No. Way before christianity the numbers 666 actually symbolized the goddess in some old 'pagan' religions. Unfortunately modern religions often try to take the female role out completely or turn it into something negative.

What really scares me is all the people who were/are scared by the date.

I'm not scared just because it's what you're talking about. Acutally, I feel happier on that day...Is there something scary going on with me then? Don't worry about it. Just another passing day.
