A definition of 'headhunter' in the business industry, is a professional recruiter. Typically, a business that locates, and interviews potential employees, for a company (Usually management, technical positions)

it is either a headhunting agency or a professional who works individually. these people have good skills in getting information about employees with very high performance, or about key personnel, successful managers.... so when a company has an opening or a vacant pisition of a high profile usually, they use a headhunter to approach a professional person who is currently working somewhere and resruit him/her for the advantage of the company that has a vacancy. headhunters check if the candidate accepts leaving the company he/she works at for a higher salary or maybe more benefits or whatever...
