Just get wireless and put a firewall on your computer. Don't network with them, there is no reason to get a new account.

Yes just contact your ISP (Internet service provider) and tell them that you want to have two connections installed in your house. Do you have DSL or Dial-Up? If you have DSL you don't have to worry about getting viruses when they surf on other computers as long as they are not networked. A good virus protection software will also do the trick for about $60 you can pick up the Norton AntiVirus Software specifically made for surfing the web.

Its probally better to have two different sign ons...maybe use two different internet providers. (example one use mircosoft and the other use Yahoo)
Install Mcafee, and use the free tool ad aware. U wont get a virus from them surfing, unless they get one while using your laptop.

Of course you can.
If you have dial up, you will have to have 2 phone lines.
If you have DSL , cable or satelite you will need a router or wireless router if you want to surf wirlessly!
