Just a basic study as to see whether most East Asian peoples consider Indians are being Asian. Indians always seem to be the odd group out in any "Asian conferences" or meetings. Interested to see the results.

Well, i live in south east asia.. and i consider all asians to be asians.. just different ethnics... here in Malaysia, we have really a lot of diff. ethnic groups, and we live considerably well togather..
the three major groups are malay, chinese and indian...
so i do consider indians as asian...

I am a typical East Asian guy, i look at them as a middle eastern origin, most other East Asian people say the same thing. We can only get along with them if we look at them this way. We know the people of north east India who look the same as the Thais or burmeses share the same view as us. They think the indian people look like people from middle east. I think this is true in ethnics and culture. The Indians and Arabs share the same look, may a little difference, they both eat flat bread, eating rice using fingers, using the same camels, going to the same mosque ( Pakistan), similar music rhym, the list go on and on

I am in Japan and most Japanese would not consider them Asian. (most people here don't know their **** from elbow) But they are Asians. Technically you could consider everyone up to the point of Turkey as Asians.

Nice name, I am a nationally certified state alchemist. I would either consider them asian or India as a middle eastern country. I'm leaning more towards a middle eastern country.

Yes, in my experience they do. According to my vietnamese friend they are.

Good or bad, that's the region where they are. will just have to live with it.
Can do w/ o the " bollywood" syndrome though. because it seems like most young indians feel like they are hot or something? i can't see how they could be. w/ the onion smelling pits they have, and the stiff toungues and all. so much of wannabe's if you ask me.sickening.
