your question is a little confusing. First of all do not give this person any personal info on you or anyone in your family. What did they steal exactly? An e-mail address or credit card account? Go to your dad and tell him what has happened. Don't worry about getting in trouble, because if you are not honest now, trust me it will be worse for you later. Your dad may just need to changes some passwords. Don't worry. If they stole an account that has a financial value then you may have to make a real police report and they can investigate it for your dad. Be brave and talk to dad. Good luck

There is no INTERNET police! That is the problem. If someone stole your father's account it sounds from what you said that you GAVE it to them! Tell your dad what you did. Also have your dad call the police and file a report and have him cancel his accounts that you gave away.

Do you mean cyber cell/cyber crimes unit of your local police then go register a complaint to them and ask for your (e-mail service provider[I HOPE])either directly or thought your attorney for full email headers or logs for your account. Then you have a case.Depending on where you live it may take may be 1/2/3/4/5/6....... years to solve your case.
If its a free account then i don't think its worth all the trouble just register a new account and inform yo bank/pay pal/etc of the changes.

there is no Internet police, maybe Internet security, you can go to local ISP or your own ISP ask them, they will tell you more about Internet security.
