i believe the symbolism of piercings depends on the culture.
some see it an artform usinging their bodies as a medium much like tattoos. piercings are also widely associated with pagan peoples or cultures, for example the picts in britain before the normans came, the aboriginees in australia and various other Native tribes around the world. some meanings could be as simple as a sign of manhood or becoming a woman. Id suggest researching piercing in general since it predates most christian religions there should be a wealth of information available out there

As far as I know, there are no widely-accepted meanings for any piercings, other than that the person likes the piercing.
